SNAKE PLANT: It is a low maintenance plant that does not need any extra care as a snake plant thrives in all conditions. This Plant is best for indoor as well as outdoor. It thrives in both low and bright light but it will best grow in bright light.
If you neglect this plant it would still grow well. If you keep a snake plant in an indoor or in the bedroom it would purify the air as it releases oxygen at night, unlike another plant that releases Carbon dioxide at night. This plant absorbs toxins from the air. If you love cozy sleep keep this plant in your bedroom.

Caring this plant is as easy as watering a plant you just need few things in regards to it-
1. Soil
2. Water
3. Sunlight
SOIL: Snake plant can grow in any kind of soil but if you grow it in well-drained soil it would grow at its best. It is a succulent plant so take a potting mix of sand and soil. If you do not have sand you can use coco peat instead of it. Coco peat made of coconut coir.
WATER: Watering is an important part of any plant. This plant does not like much water. So this plant would need water after 10 to 15 days in summer. In winter it would demand water after 3 to 4 weeks. In the meantime, we can also check whether the plant needs water or not. For this we have to just dip our finger in the soil, If the soil stick on our finger it means the plant does not need water, if it does not stick on your finger this indicates it needs water. 
SUNLIGHT: Snake plant thrives in both low and bright lights. But it shows its best growth in bright sunlight. You can keep this plant in sunlight for two hours in the morning.
HOW TO PROPAGATE: You do not need to go outside to purchase this plant. From one snake plant, you can grow as many plants as you want. This is what people in the nursery do. This plant is easy to propagate. You can grow it from cuttings of the leaf.

Propagation in water: If you want to propagate this plant in the water you just have to dip cut ends of leaves in enough water to cover the bottom of tissue. After that place the container in bright sunlight. You can see it changing in water every week. 
Propagation in soil: Snake plants take comparatively fewer days to grow in soil than water. You have to take well-drained soil or you can take sandy soil. You can also prepare a potting mix by mixing sand and garden soil. There is an alternative to sand. You can use coco peat. Take coco peat and garden soil in 50:50 ratios. We can add compost or vermin compost to enrich the nutrient quality of the soil. Fertilize it once in a month. By Rotting hormone, we can get roots coming out in fewer days.
